Anthony Richardson may be Trevor Lawrence’s new AFC South rival, but the now third-year QB had some good advice for the rook following Sunday’s game.
As the two shook hands after Jacksonville’s 31-21 win, Lawrence reportedly told AR: “Great game, you made some unbelievable plays … but try and protect yourself. The hits add up in this league, and they’re a little different than in college.”

Anthony Richardson left the field in the final minute with an apparent lower body injury on a late scramble. But coach Shane Steichen appears to think he’ll be ok and won’t miss any additional time.
Richardson ran the ball 10 times for 40 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
