T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts, on >25% of rosters
T.Y. Hilton is not going to play the Texans each week but he still is a decent option at wide receiver if your team has been torn apart by injuries at the position. The context could not get any better for Hilton as fantasy goes, as fellow wideout Parris Campbell will miss significant time with a foot injury, MPJ will be commanding most of the attention as he has established himself as the true #1 receiver, and Carson Wentz is looking better each week.
Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins, on >25% of rosters
Tua had a very solid game coming back from injury against a terrible Jaguars’ defense, netting 22.84 fantasy points, and will now enjoy a favorable 3-game stretch against the Falcons, Bills, and Texans. Tagovailoa should be considered a solid Plan B in case your starting quarterback has a tough matchup.
J.D. McKissic, RB, WFT, on >50% of rosters
With Antonio Gibson’s health being a legitimate issue, probably every smart owner will put a claim on J.D. McKissic, as he made the most of his touches against the Chiefs, racking up 110 yards. If Gibson misses any time then McKissic’s value should only go up as he is poised to enjoy a bigger workload.
Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins, on >75% of rosters
While Waddle will probably not be available in your league, scoop him up immediately. Waddle was targeted 13 times on two different occasions this season, and his value with his former college quarterback returning from injury and facing some easy matchups next looks better than ever.
Mike Badgley, K, Colts, on >5% of rosters
With Blankenship on IR, the Colts’ kicker spot is wide open. While the Colts are still considering their options at the position after a rough warmup for Badgley, the former LAC kicker enjoyed a perfect game netting all 4 of his extra-point attempts and nailing his lone field goal try. Despite Reich’s unwillingness to kick long field goals, as he prefers to go for it, the Colts’ offense’s ability to move the ball down the field, and the lack of ability to convert red-zone trips into touchdowns, translate directly to easy volume for whoever is the Colts’ kicker.
Browns’ defense, on >25% of rosters
After a rocky start to the season, and having registered -2 fantasy points last game against the Cardinals, the Browns’ DST unit stock is at an all-time low, which might be the best time to put a claim in. This Browns unit has plenty of talent, and will now have a very favorable 5 game stretch against Denver, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, New England, and Detroit.
