Could the Colts be reuniting with a former member of the team’s practice squad along the interior defensive line?
According to Pro Football Newsroom’s James Larsen, the Indianapolis Colts are working out Memphis Showboats (UFL) defensive tackle Josiah Bronson on Saturday:

It’s worth noting that Bronson had a short stint on the Colts practice squad last season before re-signing with the Showboats.
During the 2025 season for Memphis, the 6’3,” 304 pound defensive tackle recorded 28 tackles (17 solo), 3 tackles for loss, an interception, and 4 pass breakups during 10 games.
Originally signed by the New Orleans Saints in 2021 as an undrafted free agent, the well-traveled Bronson has also spent with the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots organizations—in addition to the Colts.
In 8 career games in the NFL, Bronson has 12 tackles (8 solo).
There doesn’t appear to be a new injury for Indianapolis along the defensive interior in training camp, where an additional offseason body may otherwise be needed.
Instead, the Colts may be kicking the tires on potential defensive line depth.
