A closeup of Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning will finally enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend as his enshrinement ceremony will be held in Canton on Sunday. The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback was elected back in January in his first year of eligibility and will now have that accomplishment made official.

Manning, a five-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion obviously touched may of football’s greats during his 18 years in the NFL. As a result, many players and coaches are expected to be on hand when he receiver the honor.

One name expected to be present this weekend stood out from the rest.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Tom Brady will be one of the many high-profile NFL figures in attendance at Manning’s enshrinement ceremony in Canton on Sunday. The Buccaneers won’t have training camp practice on that day, so the seven-time Super Bowl champ will fly to Ohio and watch his former rival receive the high honor.

Brady and Manning will go down in history as two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever strap on a helmet and rightfully so. Manning’s record-breaking numbers and Brady’s penchant for winning transformed the NFL and it’s impossible to tell the story of the league without them.

Of course, the two had their fair share of battles over their years together as well. Brady came out on top with a head-to-head record of 11-6, but Manning did knock off his rival’s top teams in an AFC Championship game on more than one occasion. For Manning’s milestone achievement the two will put their past aside and celebrate together.

Brady won’t be the only notable member of the Buccaneers to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony. Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians, Manning’s first quarterbacks coach with the Colts, will be there to see his former player receiver the honor. He’ll be joined by assistant Clyde Christensen and Tom Moore, both of whom worked with Manning earlier in their careers.
