Tom Brady and Peyton Manning were fierce rivals on the gridiron for nearly two decades. But make no mistake, they have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.
On Sunday, Manning will be officially inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. There’ll be plenty of notable names in attendance for his enshrinement ceremony this weekend, including Brady.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times was first to report that Brady will travel to Canton, Ohio during his day off to support Manning. It’s a very classy gesture from the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Brady won’t be the only notable member from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in attendance on Sunday. Bruce Arians, who was Manning’s first quarterbacks coach with the Indianapolis Colts, will also be there.

Most fans are very pleased with this news. Besides, it’s fitting that Brady will be in Canton to cheer Manning on after being a thorn in his side for so many years.
“Game respecting game,” one fan tweeted in response to the latest report.

Of course, there are some people who believe Brady is attending Manning’s ceremony just so he can have a good time. We did learn in February that he knows how to party.
Oh I’m sure he will https://t.co/Lx0jvCQwjy pic.twitter.com/h1y8zi7KMb

There’s also a small portion of people on Twitter arguing over which quarterback deserves to be called the greatest of all time.
Love to see Tom Brady paying respect to the 🐐

Brady and Manning’s careers will forever be intertwined, there’s no doubt about that.
When the time eventually comes for Brady’s enshrinement ceremony, we’d imagine Manning will be there to return the favor.
