NFL Fans React To The Colts' Decision On Jonathan Taylor

The Indianapolis Colts are not trading All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor at this time.

Taylor and the team have been at odds a while, and the organization gave the 24-year-old star the opportunity to seek a trade this month.

However, after not finding a “fair-value offer” for Taylor, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter put it, Indianapolis will instead hold onto the 2021 NFL rushing champion.

“Indy said he doesn’t matter then demanded a first round pick for him lmao,” said one fan in response to the news.

Taylor will now begin the year on the Physically Unable to Perform list and miss the first four games of the season as a result.

“Yeah, you’ll totally get that 1st round pick for him now with him sitting the first month of the season and then shopping him for half a season!” said Athlon’s Kyle Crabbs.

“Dolphins and Colts maintained dialogue but never could agree on something acceptable to both teams,” added Miami sportswriter Barry Jackson.

“If the Colts were holding out for a first-round pick for Jonathan Taylor, then they really didn’t want to trade him,” chimed in former NFL executive Andrew Brandt.
