Former Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is returning to the gridiron, but not as a player.
According to Alex Simon of Mercury News, Luck is back on the field as a coach for Palo Alto High School.
This isn’t a full-time gig for Luck at the moment. The former Pro Bowler is helping out two days a week while trying to complete his master’s degree at Stanford.
Simon was told that Palo Alto’s football team “loves” having Luck around each week.
Sports fans, meanwhile, are happy to see that Luck’s passion for the game of football hasn’t changed despite his early retirement.
Happy for him if this is his calling https://t.co/4yrTcNVNlP

Luck, the former No. 1 pick from the 2012 NFL Draft, played for the Colts until 2018. He had 23,671 passing yards and 171 touchdowns before retiring.
Maybe, just maybe, Luck will consider coaching on a full-time basis in the future.
