After it was announced Friday that legendary running back Jim Brown passed away, Colts owner Jim Irsay revealed his rankings for the top five greatest players in NFL history.

At the top of Irsay’s list is none other than the late Jim Brown. The three-time MVP led the league in rushing yards nearly every season he played from 1957-1965.

The rest of Irsay’s top five includes Tom Brady, John Elway, Deacon Jones and Reggie White.

“On my list of Top 5 Greatest NFL Players of All Time, in our 103 year History… I have Top 5 as 1) Jim Brown 2) Tom Brady 3) John Elway 4) Deacon Jones 5) Reggie White,” Irsay tweeted.

Unsurprisingly, Irsay’s followers called him out for excluding former Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.

“Publicly disrespecting the greatest player in colts history isn’t the move Jim,” one fan said. “Let’s hop off Twitter for a few days eh?”

Another fan replied, “This is disgraceful.”

Manning is undoubtedly one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, finishing his incredible career with 71,940 passing yards and 539 touchdowns. Not only did he have all the individual accolades, he had two Super Bowl rings.

It’s one thing for another NFL owner to leave Manning out of their top five. When the owner of the Colts does it though, it’s a bad look.
