After having a brief visit with the Saints on Tuesday, running back Kareem Hunt flew to Indianapolis to meet with the Colts.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Hunt left Indianapolis without a contract for the 2023 season.
“Kareem Hunt is leaving Indianapolis without a deal, per source. Offer was made by the Colts. Unable to reach an agreement.,” Pelissero said. “Continued interest from other teams.”
Roughly 24 hours ago, ESPN’s Dianna Russini said the Colts offered Hunt more money than the Saints before he even stepped on the field for his workout in New Orleans. And yet, the two sides couldn’t strike a deal.

It’s possible Hunt is waiting to see if his market will heat up before Week 1.
Hunt is no longer considered a Pro Bowl running back, but he can still be productive. Last season, he had 468 rushing yards, 210 receiving yards and four total touchdowns.
We’ll see if another team joins the Colts and Saints in the Kareem Hunt sweepstakes.
