Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay might be sending a message to running back Jonathan Taylor with his latest tweet.
Much has been made about the running back situation in the NFL as teams are not valuing the position as much and that’s led to backs getting frustrated and even holding out at times.
For example, Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is still not with the team right now as he continues to hold out and not sign the franchise tender.
The Colts could have something similar on the way with Taylor since he’s heading into the final year of his contract and is set to be a free agent next year. With that, Irsay is not willing to back down.
“NFL Running Back situation- We have negotiated a CBA, that took years of effort and hard work and compromise in good faith by both sides..to say now that a specific Player category wants another negotiation after the fact, is inappropriate. Some Agents are selling ‘bad faith’,” Irsay tweeted.

There’s no doubt this tweet will come up when the two sides are trying to hammer out a contract next year.
Right now, Taylor is on the active/PUP list after reporting to training camp on Tuesday.
