The NFL has released the findings of the independent investigation conducted by former U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White into allegations of misconduct and financial improprieties made by former employees of the Washington Commanders.
These findings resulted in a $60 million fine for now-former owner Dan Snyder.
NFL owners have unanimously voted to approve Snyder’s $6.05 billion sale of the Commanders franchise.

If it were up to Jim Irsay, Snyder would’ve been out as an NFL owner a long time ago. The Indianapolis Colts owner is clearly very pleased by the result of this investigation.
“We’re very happy,” Irsay said, via NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Irsay isn’t the only NFL owner happy about this decision. Earlier today, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had this to say:
“It’s a hallmark day,” Jones said, via AP News. “I’m excited about the prospects of going into Washington and giving them some capital punishment.”
With this multi-billion dollar sale, Snyder surrenders his longtime ownership to a group led by Philadelphia 76ers/New Jersey Devils owner Josh Harris.
