Kicker Matt Gay was a full participant at practice today after missing practice yesterday with a quadriceps injury. Gay being able to practice fully today bodes well for his availability Sunday. Hopefully Gay is healthy and can return to his previous automatic kicking he showed last year.
Defensive end Laiatu Latu missed practice again today with a hip injury. Latu has missed both practices this week and is looking unlikely to be available for Sunday. If he is unable to play Sunday the Colts will be down two of their four starting defensive lineman, DeForest Buckner landed in IR earlier this week. The Colts could be set to start a defensive line of Tyquan Lewis, Grover Stewart, Taven Bryan and Dayo Odeyingbo.
Both safety Julian Blackmon and wide receiver Josh Downs have practiced fully all this week so far. It looks as though Blackmon will return to playing on Sunday after he missed last weeks game due to a shoulder injury. Downs looks set to make his season debut after he injured his ankle during training camp and has been sidelined since.
