Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton faces a big offseason that could go one of two likely ways. He could re-sign with the team and finish his career in Indy or do so elsewhere as a free agent.
It remains to be seen if Hilton will be re-signed. Both parties have expressed interest in a return but have also said the money has to be right. In a press conference on Thursday, head coach Frank Reich said he’s hopeful to have Hilton back.
Frank Reich pretty clearly wants star WR T.Y. Hilton back. “I think we’re all hopeful and optimistic that TY can end his career as a Colt.”
The obvious hurdle ($$$) still in play.

It will all come down to money for Hilton and the Colts. Both sides want him to finish his career with the team but if the former still feels he’s worth more than what the Colts are offering, he could leave in free agency.
Hilton hasn’t been the same player we’ve known him to be. He’s still a solid option and would be a wonderful piece for Carson Wentz, but he isn’t the deep threat he used to be, which is okay.
This will be something to watch over the next few weeks to see if the two sides can come together on a deal before the new league year opens on March 17.
