(WXIN/WTTV) — Next year’s international game played overseas between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons will be broadcast on FOX59!
Announced in May, the Colts’ latest international experience comes on Nov. 9 against Atlanta in a history-making event in Berlin, Germany. FOX59 confirmed Tuesday we secured the rights to NFL Network’s telecast, meaning the game will air on our channel with a 9:30 a.m. EST kickoff.
The game marks the NFL’s first regular-season game in Berlin and Olympic Stadium, which hosted five preseason games in the 1990s as part of the league’s American Bowl series.
The Colts are back on the international scene for the third time in the regular season and sixth time overall. Their previous regular season games were in 2023 against New England in Frankfurt, Germany (a 10-6 win) and in ’16 against Jacksonville in London (a 30-27 loss).
They’ve also played preseason games in Toronto in 2010 (a 34-21 loss to Buffalo), Tokyo in ’05 (a 27-21 loss to the Falcons) and Mexico City in 2000 (a 24-23 win over Pittsburgh).
Despite the logistical issues involved with traveling overseas, the game offers the Colts significant exposure and marketing opportunities.
Tune in at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, to FOX59 to watch this unique experience live. Go Colts!
