Fans Had Plenty Of Jokes About Philip Rivers Having 10th Child

October 11, 2024 by The Spun

Former Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers is a father again. That makes 10 for the former Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts signal caller – and counting (probably).

AL.com reported earlier this week that Rivers’ wife Tiffany recently gave birth to their 10th child, a son named Andrew Joseph Rivers. He was welcomed into the world on October 30.

In an interview, Rivers said that it’s “an awesome miracle every time” and that everyone is doing great now that they’re back home.

“It’s awesome. Tiffany is awesome,” Rivers said. “It doesn’t matter if it’s the first child or the 10th child. It’s an awesome miracle every time. Everyone is home now, and everyone is good.”

NFL fans had a different and somewhat funnier reaction. Rivers has been well-known to be father to a ton of kids for a while, so when the news broke that he reached double digits, people had unique responses.

Here are some of the highlights:

As some fans have jokingly pointed out, it’s a good thing Philip Rivers pocketed a ton of money during his 15-plus years in the NFL. He needs every penny just to save for his kids’ college tuition alone.

Will he have any more kids?
