Roster building in the NFL is a 365-day-a-year job, so Colts’ GM Chris Ballard is going to continually make tweaks, which may include looking into some of the top remaining free agents that are still available.
However, with that said, the Colts roster for the upcoming 2024 season is largely set as well. The theme for the Colts through free agency was ‘continuity,’ with Ballard prioritizing re-signing and extending his own players. In the draft, Indianapolis was able to tackle two of its biggest needs, adding pass rusher Laiatu Latu and playmaking receiver Adonai Mitchell–although the Colts didn’t add to the cornerback position until mid-Day 3.
So, with the dust having settled and the Colts’ 90-man roster for training camp and the preseason pretty well set, let’s take a look back at the winners and the losers from this offseason.
