The Indianapolis Colts are ramping up the physicality at training camp as they can finally work in pads and helmets this week before heading into full practices next week.
With the season officially one month away, the Colts have already made some changes to the roster that will impact how the 53-man looks when roster cuts are made before Week 1.
Whether it was due to opt-outs or injuries, the Colts roster could look slightly different than what we have projected. A few notes before getting into the projection:
- QB Jacob Eason isn’t listed as the Colts can move him to the protected practice squad where he can still work and develop without counting toward the active roster.
- S Julian Blackmon isn’t listed as we are currently projecting him to start the season on the PUP list. The rookie is working his way back from a torn ACL in December and the Colts just signed veteran Tavon Wilson.
