After a painful loss to the Baltimore Ravens last Monday night, the Indianapolis Colts earned their second win of the season by dominating the Houston Texans 31-3 Sunday afternoon.

Carson Wentz, T.Y. Hilton and Jonathan Taylor were three of Indy’s top contributors in Sunday’s win. Wentz tossed 2 passing touchdowns in back-to-back games. Hilton had 4 catches for 80 yards, including a 52-yard reception and Taylor dominated for a second straight game, rushing for 145 total yards and 2 touchdowns.
Let’s not forget about Parris Campbell, who, despite only playing 10% of the team’s offensive snaps due to injury, hauled in a 51-yard touchdown and gave the Colts an early 7-0 lead.
Overall, we saw the offense that many fans had been expecting to see for weeks now. An aggressive, over-the-top and explosive unit which can beat an opposing defense in a multitude of ways.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner applied pressure all afternoon long, including sacking rookie QB Davis Mills once. Indy’s secondary, which almost entirely healthy for the first time in weeks, forced Mills into making several errant throws and intercepted him twice as well.
Cornerbacks Isaiah Rodgers and Kenny Moore were excellent in coverage, and, along with Linebacker Darius Leonard, helped hold Houston to just 3 total points in Week 6. Sunday’s defensive performance was far and away the Colts’ best of the season.
