Colts Sign Former Eagles OT Casey Tucker to a Reserve/Future Contract

The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that the team has also signed offensive tackle Casey Tucker to a Reserve/Future contract to help begin the team’s early offseason.

Tucker was one of three offensive lineman that the Colts previously tried out in early December with their depleted offensive tackle group because of injuries.

Casey Tucker

The former undrafted free agent from Arizona State was initially a member of the Detroit Lions practice squad (2019) before spending time with the Philadelphia Eagles organization (2020). At 6’6”, 315 pounds (with 32 3/4” arms), Tucker also has projected as an offensive guard at the NFL level.

Per Colts.com:

“Collegiately, Tucker played in 39 career games (33 starts) at Arizona State (2018) and Stanford (2014-16). He was an Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 choice in 2018 after starting 11-of-12 games at three positions along the offensive line (left tackle, left guard and right tackle). Tucker started 22-of-27 games at left tackle and right tackle at Stanford.”

Tucker should provide additional offensive line depth and promote overall competition to the Colts squad this offseason—who earlier announced the signing of 16 other Reserve/Future contract players on Sunday.
