In the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts selected Marshall cornerback Micah Abraham with the 201st overall selection.
After the Colts traded away their original sixth round pick to move up in the third round to select Pittsburgh offensive lineman Matt Goncalves, they accumulated the 201st overall selection from Philadelphia when they traded back in Round 5 from pick 155 to 164 to eventaully take Jaylin Simpson.
Although cornerback was viewed from the outside as one of the Colts’ biggest needs going into the draft, GM Chris Ballard didn’t address that position until the fifth and sixth rounds when he took Simpson and Abraham.
With Colts’ rookie minicamp taking place later this week, let’s get to know Abraham with a closer look at what he can bring to the Indianapolis defense.
