INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have parted ways with Morocco Brown.
There was no announcement from the team or reason given for his departure, but Brown no longer is listed as the Colts’ chief personnel executive on the team website. He had been one of general manager Chris Ballard’s trusted assistants since 2017.
Brown had been with the Colts for eight years, the last three as their chief personnel executive. His first five years with Indy was as director of college scouting.
He’s been involved with NFL scouting in varying roles for 24 years.
Brown’s work with Ballard and his staff caught the attention of other teams. He interviewed with several teams for open general manager positions.
