The Indianapolis Colts weren’t messing around when it came to their asking price for running back Jonathan Taylor.
Per Barry Jackson, when the Colts were in talks with the Miami Dolphins, they made some crazy requests, including star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
As @HolderStephen reported, Packers were mystery bidder for Jonathan Taylor, besides the Dolphins. And can confirm through Dolphins person, as reported by Indy media, that Colts made wild requests from Miami, including Waddle & more.

There’s absolutely no way the Dolphins would trade one of their best playmakers to get Taylor. Yes, Taylor is one of the best running backs in the NFL, but no team will trade one of the best receivers in the league for him.
They also wouldn’t trade Waddle, plus something else like a high draft for Taylor.
The Dolphins may try to trade for Taylor again once the Oct. 31 trade deadline gets closer, but the Colts’ asking price will have to go way down for them to be comfortable.
This will definitely be a situation to keep an eye on over the next couple of months.
