The Colts get several key starters back as they prepare for Sunday’s matchup against Tennessee.

Several key players returned to practice Thursday afternoon for the Colts, including Zach Pascal and Xavier Rhodes.

Pascal, who missed the last few practices with an illness, was a full participant during Thursday’s session. Pascal is currently the teams’ leading receiver in touchdowns with three. He’s been a crucial part of Indy’s offense up to this point, so getting him back is a good sign for Sunday’s game.

Cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who’s missed the first two regular season games with a calf strain, also made his return to practice on Thursday. Like Pascal, Rhodes also plays a pivotal role for Indy’s defense as their No. 1 corner. Julio Jones and AJ Brown both await the team going into Sunday, so even though he was limited at practice, getting Rhodes back is a huge boost to a Colts’ secondary which has struggled heavily throughout the first two weeks.

Linebacker Jordan Glasgow remains in the league’s concussion protocol as he missed practice for a second straight day. Glasgow has been a key contributor for Indy’s special teams department, so hopefully he’ll be able to return sooner rather than later.

Wide receiver Parris Campbell, who missed last Sunday’s game with an abdomen injury, practiced on a limited basis for a second straight day. When healthy, Campbell adds a completely different element to Indy’s offense. Having the 4th-year receiver back in the starting lineup on Sunday would be major boost for the offense.

Safety Julian Blackmon was a full participant for a second straight day. Not having Blackmon available on Sunday would’ve been a major loss for Indy’s secondary.

Neither quarterback Carson Wentz nor tackle Braden Smith practiced for a second straight day. Wentz continues to work his way back from two sprained ankles, and Smith is still battling both a foot and thumb injury, which he sustained in Week 1.

Linebacker Darius Leonard, who admittedly is playing through an ankle injury, did not practice on Thursday after practicing on Wednesday. Friday’s practice will be a key indicator on his status for Sunday’s game.

Lastly, both tackle Eric Fisher and tight end Jack Doyle were given a rest day during Thursday’s practice.
