
Former Ohio State running back Trey Sermon has a new home.
The Indianapolis Colts have signed Sermon to their practice squad just four days after he was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sermon is a former 2021 third-round pick out of OSU and started his career with the San Francisco 49ers. He played nine games as a rookie with the 49ers and finished with 41 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown.
He then spent part of the 2022 season with the Eagles and appeared in two games, finishing with two carries for 19 yards.
Before he got to the NFL, he spent three seasons at Oklahoma before transferring to Ohio State for his senior year. For his career, he racked up 455 carries for 2,946 yards and 26 touchdowns.
The Colts are coming off a 31-20 over the Houston Texans on Sunday. They’ll face the Baltimore Ravens in their next game on Sept. 24.
