No. 5 will not be in the 45 for the Indianapolis Colts when they take on the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.
Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson has been dealing with a concussion this week and has not been able to practice. On Friday, Colts head coach Shane Steichen decided to end all of the doubt and rule him OUT for Week 3 in Baltimore.
“Per Coach Steichen, QB Anthony Richardson and C Ryan Kelly have been ruled out for #INDvsBAL,” the team announced a short while ago.
Richardson went 6 of 10 for 56 yards and two rushing touchdowns before being knocked out of their win over the rival Houston Texans. Gardner Minshew finished the game and will get the starting nod in Week 3.

It’s a disappointing outcome after 1.5 promising games to start his young NFL career.
The good news is, there’s still plenty of time for Anthony Richardson to recover and continue to develop for the Colts this season.
Just so long as the Colts take Richardson’s injuries seriously, they’ll be able to navigate these rough waters without any long-term issues.
The Colts vs. Ravens game will be played at 1 p.m. ET and will air on CBS.
