The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft is nearly here for the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts are coming off a 9-8 season under then first-year head coach Shane Steichen, barely missing out on the playoffs, despite not having quarterback Anthony Richardson for most of the year.
The theme for the Colts up to this point in the offseason has been continuity. While they’ve made very few outside additions to their roster, GM Chris Ballard did prioritize re-signing many of his own players.
Like every team, the Colts still have needs to be addressed in the draft and will have to strike that balance between finding some immediate help while also being mindful of long-term needs that could pop up in 2025 and beyond.
