Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson won over a lot of NFL fans Thursday night, but none of them are from Philly.
After the Colts scored a touchdown against the Eagles in the first quarter of their preseason finale, Richardson did the “Fly, Eagles, fly” gesture to the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field.
Eagles fans weren’t thrilled about this display of moxie from Richardson. They made that abundantly clear by booing him.

NFL fans who can’t stand the Eagles obviously loved Richardson’s antics from Thursday night.
“I’m an Anthony Richardson fan for life now,” one person said.
“OK I’m a fan now just because of how much this will bother Eagles fan,” another person wrote.
Richardson told reporters he was just having fun with the crowd in Philadelphia. He didn’t mean to offend anyone.
“Sometimes when you get into the end zone, you just freeze up and don’t know what to do. So I was contemplating what I was going to do if I scored or if somebody else scored. So I ran down there and I was just flapping my arms and having fun,” Richardson said, via NFL.com. “I hope nobody took it the wrong way. I was just balling, having fun out there, and enjoying it.”
Richardson finished Thursday’s game with 78 passing yards and 38 rushing yards.
