Former NFL rushing leader Jonathan Taylor wants out of Indianapolis. The Colts want Taylor gone. Other NFL teams want him. Something’s gotta give.
According to Destin Adams of AtoZ Sports, at least seven teams have inquired with the Colts about the availability of Taylor and what it would cost to trade for him. Those teams are the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per the report, the Colts are listening to offers and will entertain one if a team meets their asking price.
The most difficult part of this whole thing will likely be finding a team willing to meet the Colts’ demands, which reportedly is a first-round pick or equivalent compensation.

As for the teams that might realistically get him, the Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins certainly look like the top candidates for the time being.
Both could benefit greatly from adding an elite running back like Taylor to the backfield, though the Rams could especially after trading Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings last week.
Will Jonathan Taylor be traded this season? If he does, what will the trade package wind up looking like?
