The Indianapolis Colts have gotten through a full week of padded practices and held their first scrimmage on Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium, which has given the team some indication on the progression of several players throughout training camp.
Without the benefit of preseason games, the Colts have to get creative in the way they evaluate players ahead of the roster cuts in September. Some players have risen their stock with the team since the start of padded practices. Others haven’t been as fortunate whether it’s due to injuries or a lack of strong performances.
