Four Indianapolis Colts players were named to the first team All-
Pro team, the Associated Press announced Friday.
Among the Colts that made the team include left guard Quenton Nelson, linebacker Darius Leonard, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and safety George Odum.
This is the third time in as many years that Nelson has made the All-Pro team while this is Leonard’s second time making it. This is the first time Buckner and Odum have made the All-Pro team.
Nelson has been his usual dominant self in both pass protection and run blocking. He’s even stepped in at left tackle when the Colts needed him to.
Buckner’s presence on the defensive line has done wonders for the entire unit as a whole. He set the franchise record for sacks in a season by a defensive tackle.
Odum was snubbed a Pro Bowl spot but rightfully made it as the special teams player. He led the NFL with 20 special teams tackles while no other player finished with more than 16.
Leonard has been the heart of the defense since arriving 2018. He finished with strong numbers again recording 132 tackles (86 solo), 7.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks.
