Indianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack suffered a torn Achilles in the Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, effectively ending his season.
Some of these running backs are aging veterans who have to be listed simply because of their name. Some of them worked out for the Colts earlier in September while others are just somewhat intriguing for the roster.
It should be noted that I don’t think any of these options should get more playing time than the three running backs currently on the roster—Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins. But thy could provide short-term value as depth pieces.
