It’s a sellout in West Lafayette.
Wait a minute, what does that little number next to Purdue’s name mean? For the first time in 14 years Purdue has cracked the AP Poll’s top 25. Now it will go for its first win as a ranked team since September 17, 2005 at Arizona 31-24.
We only have to end that pesky 14 game losing streak against Wisconsin. No big deal.
It is obviously a very exciting week, as it is a sellout and the team is charge up after a massive road upset of the No. 2 ranked team in America. Sure, Iowa is probably more in the 15-20 range of the rankings, but they were officially No. 2 at hte time, so at least it looks very good on the resume.
It should be fun. A win on Saturday means Purdue is probably playing the rest of the year for a good bowl as opposed to just a bowl game. Let’s keep the momentum going.
