It’s not just the players that make college basketball special.
I was not blessed with musical talent or ability when I was born. I’ve always admired those that have the patience, dedication, and skill to master an instrument. I’ve also always loved the bands as part of major college football and basketball. In fact, if you ask my wife she would tell you that the bands are the best part of college sports. She makes a compelling argument. There’s just something special about the band striking up Hail Purdue that sends chills through my body. There’s a certain bit of nostalgia that the sound of those instruments give me. It’s hard to explain but I’m sure most of you know what I’m referring to.
With that in mind, I reached out to the folks at Purdue bands to see if I could receive a list of the seniors in the Boiler Brass. I asked late in the process for a post that I hoped to get up before senior night, that’s on me, but thankfully they came through and provided me a list of all the seniors who have dedicated so much time, effort, and skill to add to each and every game in Mackey Arena.
