Purdue adds ACC squad to non-conference schedule
Another piece of Purdue’s non-conference schedule is set with the addition of Georgia Tech during the Big Ten/ACC Challenge this season. The Boilermakers will host the game on December 1st inside the confines of Mackey Arena.
It will be a tough test for the young team as Georgia Tech is coming off of a season in which they posted a record of 17-9, a top four finish in the ACC and a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament.
The is set! Bring on Georgia Tech.

Fans will learn a lot about this team and the future of the program during non-conference play with games against Miami, Dayton, Western Kentucky and the aforementioned Georgia Tech along with the two more potentially tough opponents (TBA) in the St. Pete Showdown.
The Big Ten/ACC Challenge has not been kind to the Boilermakers as they have an all-time record of a measly 3-11. A side note though, Katie Gearlds was 1-0 against Georgia Tech in college, so there’s a glimmer of optimism if you shall take it. If Purdue can steal a win against a top notch opponent like the Yellow Jackets, it could be a sign of great things to come.
