A trip to the Sweet 16 is on the line in Providence.

Good morning Boilermaker Nation! If you’re reading this it means that it’s Saturday morning and Purdue vs. McNeese (not McNeese State anymore, just McNeese) is just a few hours away. A trip to the Sweet 16 is on the line for these teams and a trip back home to Indianapolis awaits the Boilermakers if they can take down the 12th seeded darling of the internet.

Purdue advanced to this game by taking down High Point (the internet’s other darling) in the First Round 75-63. McNeese advanced past the Tigers of Clemson in their First Round matchup by a final score of 69-67 which was shocking in itself because Clemson was down 31-13 at halftime. It was quite the comeback story for Clemson but unfortunately for them it fell just short. Now, the two teams face off in Providence, Rhode Island today just after noon.

Who: 4 seed Purdue (23-11) vs. 12 seed McNeese (28-6)

When: Saturday, March 22, 2025 – 12:10 p.m. ET

Where: Providence, Rhode Island – Amica Mutual Pavilion – Capacity -11,648

TV: CBS (Andrew Catalon, Steve Lappas, Evan Washburn)

Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)

So join us today to see if the Boilermakers can move past the first weekend and head back home to Indianapolis. It should be a great game and I know you’re all raring to go, so…let’s go!
