Who are you most excited to see?
Survey results for the week are back in. This week we asked about the new entrants to the Big Ten and who you were most excited to see both at home and on the road. Keep in mind if you were that guy in the comments and said none of them or that the Big Ten should still be 10 teams you in essence voted for a third party and your vote didn’t count. That’s not how these surveys work. So good job throwing your vote away.
For those that did actually take part in the poll, here are your results.
It was no surprise to me to see Washington at the bottom of this list with just 9%. USC at the top also made sense with 46% because they are a big name program with a national reputation. I did think Oregon might be closer to the top but 36% was nothing to sneeze at. They of course have been to Ross-Ade in the recent past. Purdue and Oregon played a series of home and home games in 2008 and 2009. Purdue lost at home in double overtime and lost by two on the road. Purdue honestly should have won both of those games. Poor UCLA also stuck at the bottom here with 9%. Best part about seeing UCLA in Ross-Ade? The uniforms.
Next, I asked who you were excited to go on the road and see Purdue play at.
Results show it’s the same order as last time but more balanced. Perhaps because there’s a lot of things to do around Washington that brings it up in the rankings. USC again leads but this time with 31% and Oregon right on its tail with 26%. Overall, it seems like a well balanced set of choices for Purdue fans. I hope you get to plan a trip to one of these destinations in the future and see a Boilermaker victory!
