Plus, how confident are you that Purdue becomes bowl eligible?

We’ve got two more survey results coming your way this week as promised. We are all focused on football with this one so be prepared!

First, I wanted to know which of the conference home games you all are most excited for. I kept it at conference home games because the non-conference doesn’t exactly scream thrilling matchups that people are clamoring to see. No Notre Dame at home this season. So, let’s see the results!

The overwhelming favorite with 49% is the Indiana Hoosiers. The Old Oaken Bucket always matters no matter which team is likely to win. We’ve gotta get that Bucket back. I was surprised that USC didn’t get more votes here. I know they are in a solid second place, but I assumed that since they are a newbie in the conference they might take the first place spot. I guess that’s why we ask the questions.

Next, is the dreaded topic of bowl eligibility. No sugar coating it, let’s just get right to it.

Only one in five readers thought that Purdue would make it to a bowl game. I think that’s a fair result because it shows both how far Purdue has fallen while also taking into account the complete uncertainty with the team given the number of transfers both in and out.
