Four-star wing talks Tennessee visit, schedules another

One of the fastest rising prospects in the 2026 recruiting class is scheduled to visit Purdue this coming weekend, sources confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.

Four-star prospect Ralph Scott plans to arrive in West Lafayette on Wednesday. The 6-foot-7 wing recently completed visits to Tennessee, Texas A&M and Houston with a visit planned for Syracuse sometime in October.

“I really liked it,” Scott told RockyTopInsider after his visit to Tennessee. “I have to go back and think about everything compared to everything. But I really enjoyed it and can see myself being something here.”

What surprised Scott the most about his visit was his impression of head coach Rick Barnes, who has coached notable NBA players such as Kevin Durant.

“Impressions before (the visit) were that he seemed like a really serious coach, seeing him on TV and all that,” Scott said. “Obviously the legacy of, coaching a great player like KD, TJ Ford, [La]Marcus Alldridge, all those great players. But in person he’s a really down-to-earth guy. I like his belief too. His faith is really nice.”

Scott hopes to make a decision on his commitment in the late fall after completing his visits.

The wing out of IMG Academy is the No. 37 prospect in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports and is poised to make a big impact on whatever program he decides to make his new home at the next level.
