Where will the former Purdue starter head?
Ethan Morton has made it official. We already knew he was heading out to finish his college basketball career elsewhere, but we just didn’t know where. Now, thanks to his Twitter account, we do.

Morton will head out West to Colorado State to join the Rams/Aggies.
Morton is another player who has epitomized the team greater than self mentality of the Purdue basketball team. Despite starting 29 games during his Purdue career, all coming during his junior season, Morton willingly took a back seat during his senior season at Purdue and would start 0 games. Just to make that stat more stark, in his junior season Morton played 880 minutes on the season. During his senior season, where Purdue made it all the way to the NCAA Championship game, Morton played just 370 minutes. That’s a sacrifice not many players would do willingly, yet there was Morton smiling through it all and working his ass off each and every opportunity.
No moment will sum up his final season more than the game against Gonzaga in the Sweet 16. With fouls to give, just seconds on the clock, and Gonzaga with the ball, Painter threw Morton into the game to disrupt the Bulldogs offense. Morton grabbed two fouls in a grand total of 6 game seconds. Gonzaga was out of sorts on offense and wasn’t able to score before the half ended. Purdue went into halftime with the lead and maintained that on their way to the National Championship game. He received a standing ovation from the Purdue crowd. There’s nothing more Purdue than that and for that moment alone I’ll always have a special memory of Ethan Morton in the memory banks.
With his career at Purdue over we wish Morton nothing but the best as he finishes his college basketball career.
