A legacy child is headed out of town.
Less than 12 hours after losing to Houston in the Sweet 16, Brian Waddell decided to enter his name into the Transfer Portal.

His father, Matt Waddell played with Coach Painter and was a 1,000 point scorer during his time at Purdue.
Brian was a late offer after his senior year development at Carmel High School.
The 6-7 wing came in much too thin for Big Ten Basketball, but worked hard and put on weight to play.
It seemed like he was on the verge of taking a leap forward before tearing his ACL, derailing his development.
He will now look for a home with the hopes of getting quality playing time as a graduate student.
Best of luck, Brian!
