The rising sophomore faces a minute crunch.
As the calendar turns to June it means the podcast has two sports to focus on with football coming up in just under 100 days. Kickoff times are coming out and Ryan and I go over those in this episode including the day of the Old Oaken Bucket game which will be a Purdue sports double header with the men’s basketball team also having a game that day at home which as of yet does not have an announced time. Should be a fun day on campus.
Next, we continue our homework series and look at rising sophomore Raleigh Burgess. Now, I want to be clear, the headline is not meant to be disparaging. There’s simply a numbers crunch at the positions Burgess would be playing. Daniel Jacobsen, Trey Kaufman-Renn, and Oscar Cluff are all going to be getting significant minutes next year. That puts Burgess 4th in line I would assume pending health of all those involved. Burgess is a talented guy but for now I don’t see him jumping those guys, so what does he do? What does Purdue need from him? Ryan and I get into all that on today’s episode.
