Good things coming from FIBA.
Purdue has two guys playing in the FIBA U19 tournament right now and there’s one that has been making headlines. Ryan gives me the skinny on what has gone on with Purdue’s point guard of the future (?) and what it means for this season with the Boilermakers. We also talk Daniel Jacobsen as he’s gotten his first in game action since the injury during last season.
Then, we take a break and come back to discuss our favorite Aussie, Oscar Cluff. Cluff comes to Purdue from SDSU by way of Australia. Purdue will look for the 6’11” forward to make a big difference in one area that they struggled mightily in last season, rebounding. If Cluff can finish the season averaging even half of what he averaged last year it would be a big improvement for the Boilermakers. How does he fit in with the team, and will he start? Ryan and I discuss all this and more on this week’s episode.
