Another tough opponent for the Boilermakers.
Purdue gets a bye week after traveling to Notre Dame for their week 4 matchup. That means the team should be tan, rested, and ready, as Illinois comes to town to take on the Boilermakers. The Illini are currently in possession of the Cannon and so Purdue will be looking to get that one back, tiny as it is. Purdue is currently in possession of 0 of their rivalry trophies and if I can just be real for a second, that sucks. We’ve gotta get those things back. I hate seeing the empty cases for them.
