Big news for anyone who is looking to find a way to get a little Purdue men’s basketball fix prior to the start of next season! Today, the men’s basketball program announced the 6th Purdue Men’s Basketball Alumni Game! This is a tradition that was started surprisingly recently and which doesn’t happen every year.

Purdue has generally had very good alumni turnout for these things with, according to the accompanies press release, over 50 players and coaches returning each time. That’s a great commitment from the Boilermaker players and coaching staffs. It doesn’t hurt that Matt Painter has been such a great ambassador of the program and team. Plus, you’ve got Brandon Brantley and PJ Thompson right there as full-time staff members plus the ever rotating cast of grad assistants.
This should be yet another great event to get folks fired up for the 2025-2026 season which should be one that every Purdue fan is prepared for. If you’re more interested in the current team, they will be introduced at the event as well.
