A little over two months away from Max Parrott and the Boilermakers taking on Ball State!

Projection: Offensive Line Depth
Hopefully, you’ll forgive me for being a couple of days behind on Max. No slight to the massive offensive line prospect intended, it was my birthday weekend, and I was out and about in the blazing heat.
What I should have said Saturday is that Max Parrott is a holdover prospect from the Ryan Walters era, and one that I’m glad this coaching staff was able to keep. Considered a consensus three-star prospect out of Colorado powerhouse Cherry Creek, Parrott played for a state championship in four consecutive seasons and won three. He was team captain and All-Centennial League First Team as a senior in 2023.
Parrott will be in the mix for a spot in the two-depth on an offensive line I couldn’t begin to piece together at the moment. Most players left, but Parrott stayed, and it seems like he would have had some options with his high school resume. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on special teams, and he’ll have every opportunity to earn a spot on the depth chart in fall camp.
