Another week, another towering offensive lineman as we focus on RS Freshman, John Randle Jr. At 6’4, 290, there is no missing this guy who was a 4-sport athlete back in high school (football, basketball, baseball, and track) in Mississippi. Coming to Purdue last season as a consensus 3-star recruit, Randle Jr was able to play in two games for the Boilermakers against Indiana State and Northwestern. This season, it may be difficult to get on the field as there are nearly 20 offensive linemen on the roster. So, it may be a learning year for John Randle Jr under his new line coach, Vance Vice. Nothing wrong with that as the young man still has 4 more seasons to work with and play.
