The SEC transfer long snapper has made his way to West Lafayette
We are now just 46 days away from Purdue Football and with that comes another SEC transfer that has made his way to West Lafayette. Luke Raab, a redshirt freshman, did not appear in any games during his freshman season at Georgia. Raab was recruited as one of the best long snappers in the country in his senior class of 2024, checking in at #6 in the Kohl’s special teams rankings.
Kohl’s had this to say about Raab during his senior season:
“Raab has always been one of the most exciting snapping prospects in the country. At the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp, he showcased why he is committed to Georgia. Raab was dialed in on day 2 during the competition phase of camp. He knocked out 100 snappers to earn a spot in the final snapping competition for the Under Armour All- America Game. He has one of the highest ceilings in the 2024 class due to his rare combination of size and athleticism. Raab is the type of talent that will be snapping for a very long time.”
Raab stands as the likely candidate to long snap this fall for the Boilers following many transfers in the special teams room. Raab was also a two-time Georgia state semi-finalist in baseball and swimming, making him a three sport athlete in high school.
