Early this morning we found out when and where Purdue will play.
In the clearest sign yet that I’m almost 40 years old I couldn’t make it through all the games last night. I fell asleep on the couch watching the second half of the Michigan game. Plus, I was hoping to see the Purdue game time and TV network announced so I could throw it up on the site quickly and be first. It’s really all that matters in sports journalism these days. Unfortunately being the father of a 4-year old and being 39 caught up with me and I just couldn’t make it. When I woke up just after 2:00 AM I checked Twitter and saw the announcement.

Who – 4 Seed Purdue vs. 12 Seed McNeese
When – Saturday, March 22nd, 12:10 PM Eastern
TV – CBS
Purdue will be the first game to kick off the round of 32 and therefore can be the first team to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16. McNeese is a tough opponent, but Purdue has shown the ability to beat a team like them. So why not do it Saturday so they can make their way back home to Indianapolis for the Sweet 16?
