Hey folks. If you didn’t hear, football is (almost) officially back. This year feels especially exciting after a year lacking any sense of normalcy. I have been studying the schedule and I am honestly struggling to figure out the game I am most excited for. I will highlight a couple of contenders in my book, but ultimately want to get a pulse on the loyal readers to see what game excites you the most! VAMOS!

-Jack Coan Era Kicks off under the bright lights in Tallahassee

-Who will step up at WR for the Fighting Irish?

-Marcus Freeman’s debut….Will he be the chosen one?

-I have a soft spot for FSU after hopping on the Locked on Noles Podcast a few times-GREAT dudes.

Wisconsin Badgers at Soldier Field

-Jack Coan Revenge Game…..How will he respond against his former team. How many times will the announcers mention this?

-Shamrock Series at Soldier Field (hell ya ND game in Chicago). I love the jerseys (honestly) and I am very excited for a game in my backyard.

Cincinnati Bearcats At Home

-Irish/Bearcat swaps……Marcus Freeman and Mike Mickens to the Irish…..Michael Young and Mike Denbrock to the Bearcats. Do you think the announcers will bring this up?

-Cincinnati is the hottest non power 5 team in the country. This will be their Super Bowl and give them a chance to make the playoffs if they come out on top

My Pick: WISCONSIN AT SOLIDER FIELD

I am so excited for this matchup. There are so many storylines that are highlighted above….but for me it is the Chicago aspect. This game is taking place in my backyard and the city will be on fire (too soon?). Chicago has adopted ND as their team and has a huge population of Wisconsin fans as well. On a personal note, my close group of friends are all Wisconsin guys so this game will quickly become personal. Needless to say, I could not be more excited about this game!
