Something in the Orange tells me we’re not done
With the reopening of the college football transfer portal we will likely see quite a bit of movement all over the country. Two former Notre Dame athletes that already announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal, have now found news homes — one in football and one in basketball.
This must be some type of Dutch conspiracy against the Roman church that has its roots with William of Orange — right? Just nod your head.
Clarence Lewis announced his decision to take his talents to a dome named after a cell phone carrier that is unable to produce cell reception in said dome. Of course we’re talking about the Syracuse Orange.

At least Lewis won’t have to play for that coward Dino Babers as the Orange now enter the Fran Brown era. Good luck to Lewis at Syracuse!
There was another transfer announcement on Tuesday. Carey Booth announced that he will be heading west to play for the Illinois Fighting Illini nest season.
From the Fighting Irish to the Fighting Illini: Former Notre Dame forward Carey Booth has committed to Illinois, per his IG.
Booth, the son of Nuggets GM Calvin Booth, started 18 games as a freshman, leading the Irish in blocks (21) while averaging 6.3 PPG and 4.3 RPG. pic.twitter.com/BKrMf3pq6R

Did someone tell these guys that the orange in the Irish flag stands for the supporters of William of Orange? I mean — they could have stayed. Good luck to Carey in the Big Ten!
